Instructions

Here's one way to learn that seems to work well.

If you don't know a phrase:

  1. See the answer (by pressing "enter" or clicking on "Show/Say Answer")
  2. Say the answer and type it in, checking yourself against the answer.
  3. Press "Again"
  4. Say the answer and type it in.
  5. Play the answer to see if you got it right
  6. If it wasn't right, repeat steps 2-5.
  7. If it was correct, then go on to the next phrase
  8. Then press the "Prev" button and practice the first phrase you missed.

You can use the same sequence on answers that you miss.

You'll want to concentrate on only 3-5 phrases at a time.  Drop the ones you know well and add in the ones you have trouble with.  You can skip a phrase by pressing "Next Phrase".  You can go back by pressing "Prev Phrase" as many times as you need to.

Be sure to say the phrase out loud as you type it in.

If you want the program to show a phrase more often, then click on Add and it will come up every 3rd phrase.

If you know a phrase and don't want to see it again, click on Omit (while viewing the phrase)

If you want to clear your Add and Omit lists, click on Clear Lists .  Your lists are not saved from session to session so they are always reset when you refresh the page or come back to it.

If you see mistakes or have questions, feel free to email Karen.
